Description

Yamaha XT125 vintage trail bike, offered as a restoration project. The bike ran normally until about six years ago, then was stored. The seller attempted to restart it about a year ago and discovered poor starting and weak running characteristics. Engine compression measures approximately 6 kg/cm², indicating internal wear. The engine currently will not start by normal kick-start; occasional push-start attempts produce weak running before stalling. No running in the past six months. Engine disassembly has not been performed, so compression loss may not be the only fault. Compression sensation is present at kick. Battery replaced about one year ago. Fuel tank interior shows corrosion and rust. Front fork has spot rust and oil leakage; full overhaul required. Rear tire punctured; loses air within about one week despite inflation. Front brake converted to disc specification. Front and rear brakes confirmed working when pushing the machine. Tachometer cable missing. One key included. Exterior, frame, and engine areas show age-appropriate wear, rust, dirt, and paint degradation. Lighting and electrical components not fully verified. Fuel system (petcock, hoses, carburetor) requires inspection and service due to tank corrosion. Rubber parts (tires, hoses, bushings, seals) likely hardened, cracked, or degraded with age. Possible additional missing or non-original parts. Odometer reads approximately 15,491 km; actual mileage not guaranteed for a vehicle of this age. Deregistration paperwork complete; deregistration certificate provided. Pickup only; machine cannot self-propel. Buyer must arrange transport via flatbed truck or carrier.

Seller grades this as poor throughout. Engine non-running with low compression (6 kg/cm²), fuel tank interior corroded, front fork leaking oil, rear tire punctured. Rust, corrosion, and paint degradation throughout; rubber components likely hardened.
