This is a Yamaha XJ400 café racer built on a 4G0 frame and engine, first registered in 1982 (Showa 57). Frame and engine numbers are said to be the correct factory stampings, and the sale includes Japanese title transfer documents. The bike has been restored with a long list of aftermarket parts: RPM exhaust pipe, CR carburetors, Marchal lights, BEET finned (alfin) covers, clip-on handlebars, a Motokoshi single seat, a BEET engine cover, aftermarket rearsets and headlight stay (brands uncertain per seller), an oil cooler, KYB suspension, a stabilizer bar, various repainted areas, and polished engine covers among other work. The seller states the bike has not been ridden since the restoration was completed, so various adjustments will likely be needed before use.
