This is a 1975 Yamaha TY125 trials motorcycle, chassis number 539-003XX, with 19,319 km on the odometer. A previous owner restored and rode it in the past, but it has been garage-stored for a long time and is currently non-running. The seller poured a small amount of fuel into the plug hole and confirmed the engine will fire and run briefly for a few seconds. Control cables function, but the throttle is somewhat stuck and the carburetor needle appears seized. The frame and fuel tank appear to have been repainted and look to be in very clean condition. One original Yamaha key is included. The rear fender (visible in photo 10) is damaged and the taillight is not properly secured, requiring repair or replacement. Sold as a complete motorcycle only - the seller will not part it out. A transfer of ownership certificate will be provided with the sale. Buyers are encouraged to inspect in person if possible, as the seller states they may not be aware of every issue with this old vehicle.
Currently non-running though the engine briefly fires with manual fuel; the throttle and carburetor needle are sticky/seized, and the rear fender is damaged with an unsecured taillight requiring repair.
