Yamaha TDR80 (TDR50 Chassis) 2-Stroke Custom Motorcycle w/ Aftermarket Chamber

This is a Yamaha TDR80 (chassis code 3GA-003), a 2-stroke motorcycle that has been extensively customized. Modifications include a Kawachiya aftermarket exhaust chamber, new Chinese-made front brake master cylinder and clutch lever, a shortened SR400 clutch wire, new front and rear braided brake hoses, a Chinese water temperature gauge, a used SRX600 rear shock, new front/rear 15T/40T sprockets with a new 420 chain, LED bulb conversion, a new spark plug, a cleaned carburetor, a new carbon reed valve, carb heater delete, 12V conversion, a downsized battery, a hand-made air filter element, fresh Yamaha genuine gear oil, Super Zoil additive mixed into the 2-stroke oil, and Wakos heat-block coolant. Tires are Duro 100/90-12 front and rear at roughly 90% tread remaining. The seller states the bike runs, stops, and steers adequately and completed a 150km round-trip ride without major issue. It is roughly 30 years old and best suited to a buyer who can perform maintenance. The vehicle will be deregistered and has no license plate at time of handover.

Seller notes peeling paint and rust on the wheels, an aged/rusted fuel tank coating and paint, cracked/aged side covers, aged aftermarket cowls, a stained seat cover, and minor oil leaks; there is also an unexplained issue where the brake lever triggers a headlight flash when the headlight is off.

Shipping: Seller states they cannot ship this item; the buyer must either pick it up in person or arrange their own freight transporter. The bike will be deregistered and sold without a license plate prior to handover.
