Yamaha RZ250R 1XG - Clip-ons, K2Tech Chamber, Modified Back Steps, Brembo Calipers, YPVS

This is a 1988-era Yamaha RZ250R (model 1XG), red/white, built as an aggressive street/track-style custom. Odometer shows 20,818 km; the seller sold this same bike about 10 years ago and notes the reading is unverified beyond that. Mods include one-off aluminum clip-on handlebars, a K2Tech expansion chamber, a modified factory back-step kit, Brembo calipers and master cylinder, braided lines, Napoleon mirrors, and a lowered/angled meter mount. The handlebar has a steep drop and the pegs are set far back and high for a very racy riding position; a handlebar stopper is fitted so the steering lock cannot be used (the key itself still turns to the lock position). The seller reports the engine runs well with good starting, idle, and throttle response, and all lights and electrics were checked and work normally. A new battery is installed and the carburetor received a light overhaul. Included accessories are the registration return certificate and transfer certificate. No shaken (vehicle inspection) or insurance is included, and the bike is sold unregistered and un-serviced; the seller advises performing maintenance before riding after registration. Seller notes cowl cracks, scratches, and touch-up paint marks, dents on both sides of the fuel tank, rust inside the tank, and a torn seat; front and rear tires are at roughly 60-70% tread with cracking, and front/rear brake pads are at about 80%.

In-person pickup at the Tokyo (Sumida-ku) shop is available certain days/hours. If the vehicle is already registered and shipped rather than picked up after a name/title transfer, the seller holds an extra ¥30,000 deposit until the transfer paperwork is confirmed.
