This is a Yamaha RD250 with engine code 1A4, a 250cc two-stroke sold as a project/base bike. The seller purchased it directly from a previous owner who had begun a customization project before losing interest; the bike has been stored indoors throughout. Prior to about a year and a half of storage, the engine was reportedly run periodically to maintain condition, and the carburetor may have had fuel drained before storage, so it may start once fuel is added. The speedometer was overhauled by a shop during the prior owner's customization work. The seller has confirmed the engine cranks with no unusual noise on kickstart, but the bike has not been run or fully inspected, so other issues may be present. Missing items include the side cover, muffler, and headlight; the tank is also missing, though the FX tank cover is included. A red selectable single seat and side mirrors shown in photos are NOT included. Comes with one genuine main key and a kei-vehicle deregistration/return confirmation document (not a registration/title). Sold as-is with no returns.
