Yamaha FT-1 Semi-Restored, Long-Term Stored, Engine Runs, Original Orange Paint

This is a Yamaha FT-1 (mini trail lineage related to GT50/GT80/JT1) that underwent a partial restoration roughly 15 years ago and has been in long-term storage since. The frame, swingarm, front/rear fenders, fork outer cases, chain cover, and small parts were repainted at that time, and the rims/spokes, chrome trim, turn signals, tail lens, and similar parts were replaced with new items during the restoration. The orange bodywork is the original period paint and is said to be in relatively good condition. The seller cleaned the carburetor and confirmed the engine starts using a separate mixed-fuel tank, since rust was found inside the fuel tank and the oil hose was found cracked; it is described as a running (but not road-tested) vehicle. A single reproduction key is included. The chassis number is FT1-006 (partial). The seller notes the front tire loses air pressure over a few days, suggesting the valve or tube needs replacement.

Seller notes small scratches and light surface rust throughout despite the repaint, a missing mirror, two broken handlebar switch levers, tank dents, and a deteriorated oil tank decal; electrical system is unconfirmed due to the broken lever switch. Engine was only briefly run to confirm it revs cleanly with no unusual noise, but the bike has not been road tested.

Shipping: Seller plans to ship the vehicle via BAS motorcycle transport with paperwork sent separately by Letter Pack, and charges an additional 4,000 yen depot drop-off fee on top of the BAS-quoted freight cost. Buyers can look up the BAS rate themselves using the seller's nearest depot (a bike dealer in Saitama) as the origin point. Direct pickup or meeting at a highway service area near the seller is also possible.
