Description

This is a vintage track racing (pista/fixed-gear) bicycle made by Tsuchiya Seisakusho under the EVEREST CHAMPION model name, dating from roughly the 1960s-1970s. The seller states it was reportedly used in actual competition by a former Japanese national keirin track champion, with multiple race wins attributed to this frame. The frame is credited to legendary framebuilder Toshio Kajiwara, noted for its lugwork and construction, described as a museum-quality piece of Japanese cycling history. Original period parts include a Tsuchiya chromoly frame, a Nitto B123 380 deep-drop handlebar (copper-plated, stamped 'CU'), a rare Tsuchiya oil-bath crank/bottom bracket stamped 'THE TSUCHIYA OIL BATH HUNGER / Tsuchiya & co Tokyo', and a vintage leather saddle. Hub, rim, and other component markings should be checked in the photos. Several accessories are included as shown in the listing photos, intended for collectors or restoration projects. The bike is sold as-is with no claims or returns accepted.

Seller describes age-appropriate wear including paint chipping, surface rust, and general wear from period competition use, with no dents or major frame distortion noted. Tires are deteriorated from age and should be replaced or serviced before any riding.

Shipping: Seller plans to ship via Yamato Home Convenience's 'Rakuraku Kazai Takkyubin' large-item service, with the bicycle classified as size rank E (up to 300cm), split across multiple packages per Yamato's rules.
