Description

Suzuki Vanvan75, owned for 13 years but sold as the seller purchased a 125cc motorcycle in December and storage space is limited. Odometer reads 16,781 km. Two keys included; all locks (main cylinder, handlebar lock, helmet holder) operated by the same key. Garaged storage. Fifty-year-old motorcycle with age-appropriate scratches, rust, dirt, and corrosion; not a collector's piece but a working vintage bike.

Previous owner modifications: aftermarket rear suspension (maker unknown), aftermarket fuel petcock with custom bracket, possible Vanvan50 swingarm, possible Vanvan50 seat, frame repainted purple to blue.

Major service: carb overhaul, oil pump overhaul, front fork tube repairs, fork oil seal replacement, stem bearing replacement, air filter, transmission oil seal (clutch shaft, front sprocket, shift shaft), gear oil, new OEM cables (throttle, brake, clutch), new OEM grips, chain (EK STD), Kenda on-road tires (130/90-10) with BS tubes (5.4-10), new OEM rear carrier, NGK spark plug and cap.

Electrical: 12V conversion via rewind coil (AC 16V to 12V DC via full-wave rectifier), battery-less kit, IC turn signal relay, LED headlight and brake bulbs, aftermarket Z2 mirror (right only).

Engine starts reliably in a few kicks after sitting, idles smooth, pulls cleanly. Runs and stops without issue. Separated fuel system (oil pump functional). LED conversion and IC relay allow turn signals and brakes to function at idle.

Known issues: engine guard rusted and cracked at rear, transmission oil seep persists after seal replacement (possibly oil pump), front fork boots torn, turn signal lenses differ left/right, wiring harness and fuel hose hardened, rear suspension longer than stock (large lean on sidestand). Seller considers these minor for normal riding on a vintage bike.

Seller advises carburetor knowledge, basic maintenance skills, and willingness to accept minor breakdowns required. Recommends pre-purchase inspection. Direct pickup welcome. Currently registered and insured until May 15, R11 (2029); will be sold as deregistered. Insurance rights can be transferred (seller notes name change worth ~¥10k over three-year renewal cost). Self-delivery possible after registration if buyer wishes.

Seller grades this as appropriate wear for a 50-year-old bike kept garaged. Engine guard rusted and cracked, transmission oil seep, fork boots torn, wiring hardened, visible scratches and dirt; described as a working vintage bike rather than a collector's piece.
