This is a 1993 Suzuki Cara, chassis E-PG6SS, the Suzuki-badged version of the Autozam AZ-1 gullwing-door kei sports car. Only 531 units of this model were produced. It is a 2-door, 2-seat, RWD-layout kei car with a 5-speed manual transmission and 67,160 km on the odometer, finished in red. The car passed shaken (Japanese roadside inspection) and is valid through June 2028. Recent work includes new crank and dynamo pulleys, belts, tires, and genuine door gas struts, plus a replaced fuel pump and fuel pump relay. Exterior modifications include a Mazdaspeed hood, F40 wing, and aftermarket mirrors; interior has a MOMO steering wheel and factory SUZUKI roof sunshade. The suspension has been upgraded to coilovers and the exhaust is shaken-compliant. A spare new genuine driver-side weatherstrip (a discontinued part) and some spare parts are included; see photos. The car is a non-smoking vehicle and test drives or in-person inspection are welcome by appointment.
Seller describes overall good condition for its age but notes tires have tread yet show cracking typical of aged imported tires, the battery is weak from disuse, there is some oil seepage from the engine, exterior plastic trim is faded from age, the A/C does not cool (converted to R134a but not currently working), and the factory CD changer powers on but will not read discs.
