This is a vintage wall-mounted pocket organizer from Japan's old public telephone corporation (Denden Kosha, predecessor to NTT), branded 'Tele Mate.' It was originally used to hold phone bills or small papers near a wall-mounted phone, made of vinyl material. The seller describes it as salvaged from an old Japanese house (kominka) and sold used, as-is. Outer dimensions are approximately 180mm wide x 3mm deep x 520mm tall (cord/string not included in measurement). Sold in current condition with no returns accepted.
Seller notes some scratches, dirt, discoloration, and possible rust consistent with age and storage; sensitive buyers are advised not to bid.
Shipping: Seller ships via Letter Pack Light (a compact Japan Post mail service). In-person pickup at the seller's shop is also recommended and available on a scheduled basis, with the shop closed Tuesdays.
