SARD Metal Catalyst for Civic Type R EK9 / Integra Type R DC2 (with Certificate)

This is a SARD sports metal catalytic converter designed for the Honda Civic Type R (EK9, B16B, 1997.8–2000.9) and Integra Type R (DC2, B18C, 1995.10–2001.7), both manual transmission only. Pipe diameter is 76mm in / 60mm out. SARD's design uses a low-resistance, large-cell honeycomb (approx. 200 cpsi vs. roughly 400 cpsi for a stock catalyst) with precious-metal coating to reduce exhaust backpressure while still meeting Japanese emissions standards. Construction is all stainless steel (SUS304) with a stainless heat shield plate to protect surrounding components from heat. This is a used unit; everything shown in the photos is included. A copy of the emissions certification documents for both early and late EK9 and DC2 models is included with the item.

Seller notes surface scratches, dirt, and heat discoloration, but states the internal honeycomb cell is not collapsed or damaged. No distortion or exhaust leaks were found, and the seller states it is usable as-is.
