RX-8 SE3P RE Amemiya Carbon Bonnet w/ Rain Cover, Early Model - Mazda RX8 13B

This is a carbon fiber hood (bonnet) made by RE Amemiya, removed from an early-model Mazda RX-8 SE3P. A rain cover (not shown in the photos) is included, along with the mounting screws; the seller plans to install the rain cover before shipping. The hood originally had significant clouding and surface peeling typical of aging carbon fiber, so the seller had it professionally refinished at a body/paint shop. Some faint yellowish discoloration from the original damage may still be visible in spots, so buyers wanting a like-new part should avoid bidding. One photo reportedly shows a scratch made while the seller was carrying the hood. It was used for several years without bonnet pins, but the seller recommends using bonnet pins when installing this type of carbon hood.
