OZ Racing AMG AERO3 Restored 17in Wheel Set, Rare Front 2.0J Outer, M242 Flat Cap, Blue Black

This is a fully restored OZ Racing AMG AERO3 17-inch 3-piece wheel set, built to evoke the look of the late-1980s independent-era AMG (before AMG's merger with Mercedes-Benz), which used a flat M242 center cap rather than the later three-pointed-star cap. Notably, the fronts use the rarer 2.0J outer lip rather than the more common 1.5J. Front wheels are 8.5J x17 H2 ET18 (part C7400135, x2, marked 12857MB4) with a 6.5J inner rim; rears are 10J x17 ET17 (part C7400146, x2). Bolt pattern is 5x112, hub bore 66.6mm. Finish is Mercedes-Benz color code 199 Blue Black: the center disc uses powder primer plus solvent color and clearcoat on the face, with a gray powder-coated back reproducing the period two-tone look; resin center caps are painted to match. Outer lips are mirror barrel-polished with a durable powder acrylic clearcoat. Inner barrels are powder-coated gray. Wheel bolts are genuine O.Z. 12.9-marked early-type bolts, rechromed; nuts are genuine OZ Racing 10-point nuts, sandblasted and powder-coated silver. The seller states extensive inspection was done for the bolt-hole cracking common to AERO3 wheels, and no cracked discs were used or filled with resin/putty repairs. An acrylic anti-reproduction plate shown in photos is not included with the wheels.

These are restored period wheels, not new; the seller notes the outer lip may show faint corrosion marks visible only on close inspection. Yahoo's condition field lists this as 'near new,' but the seller's own text describes it as a full restoration of a used, period-correct wheel set.
