The seller states it was fully functional, including illumination, prior to removal, and that the night illumination glows as shown in their photos. The silver trim bezel had come loose and was pinched against the tachometer; the seller reseated the bezel during removal. The tachometer itself was only pinched, not damaged, and has been confirmed to operate smoothly from 0 RPM through redline. It is a direct fit for S13 Silvia/180SX and installs using the factory meter harness, requiring only one power connection and a body ground to operate.
