1997 Mazda RX-7 FD3S (Series 4), 1.3L rotary, 5-speed manual, RHD coupe with 59,103 km of actual mileage. Repainted in the original white in 2023 after a parking lot incident; a previous owner replaced the left rear quarter panel, so the third-party inspection lists it as having accident/repair history. Engine is a SCOOT-built side-port unit that received a full overhaul (housings, eccentric shafts, oil pump, apex seals, springs, O-rings) with a new TRUST TD06SH-25G turbo in wastegate configuration (wastegate exhaust routed back through the muffler, not vented to atmosphere). Transmission was overhauled at the same time using RX-8 parts for a triple-synchro setup. Other work includes a new CUSCO 1.5-way LSD, Element Sports coilovers with 16K HAL springs, new brake rotors/pads, an upgraded brake master cylinder, a 6-pot GREX front caliper setup with a large rear rotor kit, an aftermarket large-capacity radiator and intercooler, a metal clutch, and ADVAN wheels. Tuned on Power FC, dyno showed 346.2 hp uncorrected. Catalytic converter is currently removed (was borrowed for the last inspection); buyer must sort this out for future registration. Seller retains and will provide nearly all maintenance records from 2018 onward. Sold as-is with no warranty; a formal sales contract will be signed at handoff.
Overall very clean for the age with a full repaint in 2023, but has disclosed accident/repair history (rear quarter panel replacement by a prior owner), a broken driver's seatbelt buckle (replacement part included), a visible dashboard repair mark, removed rear seatbelts, a cut/blocked passenger AC vent duct, and one AC vent louver that doesn't move in sync. Tires have tread remaining but are old and the seller recommends replacement before driving in rain or on track.
Shipping: Vehicle is located near the Kunitachi-Fuchu interchange in Tokyo. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for transport; the seller will assist with loading where possible.
