This is a MAXIM WORKS exhaust manifold (header) for the Mazda Roadster NCEC, NC1 chassis. The catalytic converter section has been hollowed out to a straight-through design. Included are the mounting stay, gasket, and bolts as shown in the second listing photo. The seller states there are no cracks and no exhaust leaks, and the part was used on a running vehicle without issue. Because the catalyst has been de-catted, this manifold does not meet Japanese road safety/emissions standards and is not legal for street use; the seller recommends it for competition/track use only. Fitment is confirmed for NC1 only - buyers should independently verify compatibility with NC2/NC3 models. A genuine MAXIM WORKS compliance plate is pictured for authenticity purposes only, but the seller notes that certification is void due to the modification.
No cracks or exhaust leaks reported; shows heat discoloration/staining from normal use as a used part.
