The seller states the engine has never been swapped and the frame has not been straightened or repaired; both engine and frame carry matching, legitimate numbers that will pass inspection at the local land transport bureau. The bike has undergone a full restoration and the seller describes it as very easy and safe to ride, claiming it is the best of dozens of RS models they have owned. Period-correct parts fitted include a genuine-era Yoshimura muffler, reproduction Hayashi cast wheels, period Koni suspension, a period Yoshimura Kawasaki metal emblem, a period Asahi Denso fuel gauge cap, and CR carburetors.
