This is a custom-built Kawasaki SS500 being sold at auction. The seller reports the engine runs and, based on video, seems to run well, though this is a subjective assessment. The front and rear suspension components have been swapped from a Kawasaki XJR with frame modifications to fit. Brake operation was checked but the bike has not been test ridden. Brake light and turn signals function. The engine's oil pump has been disabled, so the bike currently runs on a pre-mixed fuel/oil setup. The engine unit is identified by code KAE20639. Seller notes this as a project bike needing further sorting rather than a turnkey machine.
Overall condition is described by the seller as poor: the carburetor leaks gasoline when parked, the exhaust chamber may leak, and there is oil residue/staining. Engine runs and suspension feels normal when pressed, but the bike has not been ridden and only brake function (not full operation) was verified.
