Kawasaki KZ650 Zapper - Running, Pre-Inspection Passed, Original Exterior, Restoration Base, As-Is

This is a Kawasaki KZ650 "Zapper" (naked/standard model, related to the Z1/Z2/KZ1000 family), sold as a running, as-is restoration-base bike with Japanese domestic registration and a freshly obtained pre-inspection certificate (valid to December 2026). Odometer reads 6,536 miles. The seller reports the engine starts on choke, idles and revs cleanly with no smoke or unusual noise; carburetors have been disassembled and cleaned only, with further tuning (e.g. FCR carbs) left to the buyer. The frame shows no bends per the seller's inspection, but has scratches, rust, and peeling paint. Electrical system has been mostly repaired, brakes work well, and the transmission shifts smoothly. Front and rear suspension are said to be in good shape, and gauges have been confirmed functional. Original body panels have never been repainted; seller notes dents and scratches but describes the patina positively. Aside from the aftermarket muffler and power filter, the bike is stated to be fully original, retaining original lever coatings and Takasago wheels.
