Description

This is a used Honda VT250F FE (model code MC08), a water-cooled 4-stroke V-twin 249cc pre-regulation sport bike rated at 40hp, carbureted, with electric start and a 6-speed return-shift transmission. Odometer shows 29,320km. One key is included covering the main switch, fuel tank, seat cowl, and helmet holder. The bike is currently temporarily deregistered from public roads, and comes with the temporary deregistration certificate and transfer paperwork, but not a dealer maintenance warranty. At the time of its original listing in August 2022 the seller reports the engine started on the starter, ran, shifted, and stopped normally with no unusual noise, and electrics worked. At that time a shop had done a new spark plug, carburetor disassembly and cleaning, coolant change, brake caliper overhaul, brake master cylinder replacement, new battery, and new fuel hose. The bike features the boomerang-style Comstar wheels, inboard disc brakes, and factory hydraulic clutch typical of this model. Cosmetically it shows wear consistent with a roughly 40-year-old machine, including scratches, some rust, and touch-up paint marks on the cowls, though the seller states the frame and swingarm are clean. Tires and chain are considered consumables and may need replacement. Sold as-is with no warranty.

Listing summary tag says 'no notable scratches or dirt,' but the seller's own text notes scratches, some rust, and touch-up paint on the cowl consistent with a 40-year-old motorcycle. Engine, electricals, and mechanicals were reported functioning correctly as of the original 2022 listing, though re-tuning of carburetor/brakes may be needed given time elapsed since then.

Shipping: Paperwork ships separately via Letter Pack for an additional yen fee. Delivery within Kurashiki city or drop-off at Kurashiki Nirin-kan carries an additional yen surcharge, and drop-off at the Shin-Okayama depot carries a separate, higher yen surcharge. The seller does not arrange motorcycle transport directly; buyers are expected to arrange their own carrier (e.g., Airline or BAS), and self pickup/ride-away collection is also accepted.
