Honda Monkey Z50J

This is a Honda Monkey (Z50J) minibike, sold from Yokohama, Kanagawa. The bike comes with the original key plus one duplicate. The seller was restoring the electrical system and swapped the ignition coil, points, and condenser (new Kitaco coil, genuine points and condenser), but the engine no longer fires afterward and needs someone knowledgeable with ignition systems to sort it out. According to the previous owner, the engine has been swapped for a DAX50 unit bored to 88cc with a Takegawa kit and PC20 carburetor, paired with a 5-speed return transmission from the classic SS50. It also has Takegawa front forks, a Kayaba rear shock, and Bridgestone BT390 tires with about 10/10 tread remaining, and the electrical system has been converted to 12V. The fuel tank and bodywork were repainted by an amateur with clear coat and are not shop-quality finish. The odometer reads 4,500 km but this is unconfirmed. A Takegawa 88cc top-end rebuild kit is included with the bike, along with the other parts mentioned. There is a slight protrusion inside the cylinder near the skirt area from over-tightened stud bolts that the seller says should be ground down with a rotary tool before use.

Seller's condition field notes scratches and dirt, and the bike is not currently running after an ignition system swap left it without spark. There is also a minor internal cylinder defect (raised area near the skirt from over-tightened stud bolts) that needs grinding before use.
