Honda Monkey Z50J 4L Early Model, All-Original, Rare Orange, Idles, 6V, With Docs

This is a rare early '4L' Honda Monkey (Z50J, 1974, 50cc, 6V) presented as an all-original, unmodified example from a private collection. The seller states it has not been customized with aftermarket parts and is largely complete, retaining its original candy-orange painted tank, factory 'onigiri' meter, chrome fenders, muffler guard, rear carrier, and curved handlebars. Odometer reads 5,584 km (unverified). Comes with deregistration and transfer paperwork plus a key. A currently fitted carburetor is a genuine reproduction copy; the seller will include the original carburetor and original throttle assembly with the sale. A start-up video is linked in the original listing. The engine starts within a few kicks and idles, but a compression test showed under 7kg/cm², below spec, so it lacks power for real road use as-is. The seller describes it as an excellent restoration base for someone able to perform a top-end rebuild (valve lapping, tappet adjustment, or piston ring replacement).

Seller notes light surface rust in the fuel tank and two small tears in the seat, otherwise very clean for its age with little rust or wear. Engine idles but compression tested below spec (under 7kg/cm²), so it needs top-end work before real riding use.

Shipping: Local pickup is welcomed near Hakuba, Nagano Prefecture, including by kei-truck, and the seller says nearby-prefecture delivery can be arranged cheaply on request. Otherwise the buyer must arrange a door-to-door vehicle transport company (e.g. Airline, BAS) for shipment, as this is an unregistered/needs-service vehicle.
