This is a rare original-equipment Honda Gathers head unit made by Kenwood, model DPX-9000MJH, a 2DIN CD/3-disc MD changer deck. Aside from minor logo and spec differences it is essentially equivalent to the DPX-9000MJ. The seller tested CD playback, MD playback, MD disc changing, AM/FM radio, the LCD display and its open/close mechanism, speaker output, and illumination, and reports everything worked without issue. The unit has been serviced: CD lens and rubber roller cleaning, MD lens cleaning and laser output adjustment, MD mechanism inspection, and re-soldering of the LCD chip. Load times are quick and operation is described as good.
Seller notes minor scratches and some fading on the buttons, but describes the unit as clean for its age; Yahoo's own condition field also shows no notable scratches or dirt.
