This is a Honda CB750K5 that had its original engine and seat replaced by a previous owner with parts from an earlier K0 model, including the desirable sand-cast K0 crankcase. The seller, a self-described enthusiast rather than a professional, is selling because they could not source an affordable K0 crankcase for their own restoration project. The bike starts on the first attempt with choke applied. The engine shows no smoke or unusual noise and is described as running well for its age, though the seller notes the carburetor and original points-type ignition coil are 50 years old and recommends upgrading to a modern ignition (Uotani) and adjusting the carb. The speedometer reads accurately to 40 km/h and the tachometer sweeps to redline but the needle flutters, so replacement is suggested. Tires and wheels are old and should be refreshed before road use. There is surface rust in the fuel tank, on the chain, and around the handlebar area. Provisional inspection is valid through December 2026. Documents provided: provisional inspection certificate, customs clearance certificate, transfer certificate, and local (Japanese) title.
