Honda American Dax Chrome Special Edition - Excellent Condition, Runs Well

This is a limited chrome edition Honda American Dax. The seller states the frame and swingarm chrome are in excellent condition and had been kept in an unusually well-preserved state. The bike belonged to an elderly owner (who used it around rice paddies) until he passed away at 90; afterward it was only occasionally started in a barn. Some rust on the underside of the frame and small parts was removed, polished, and treated with rust-preventive paint. The seller installed a new battery (with a slightly modified battery case to fit a larger capacity unit) and replaced most bulbs, including indicator lights. The low beam does not currently illuminate for an unknown reason, though the seller believes the bulb itself is fine. Spark plug and engine oil have been changed; the bike starts on the first kick and revs without issue. Odometer reads about 1,800 km, said to be the actual mileage. The exhaust had holes repaired with heat-resistant putty and repainted; the muffler guard was polished and rust-treated on the underside. The seat has a tear near the sticker area repaired with tape and a replacement sticker. The wheels were repainted white with black spokes (original color was gold); the brake disc remains original gold.

Seller describes overall condition as very good but notes cosmetic wear typical of an older bike, including a repaired seat tear, repainted wheels, and a repaired exhaust; the low beam headlight currently does not work for an unknown reason.
