This is a Fuji Rabbit S601B (frame number 62S601-454), an antique postwar scooter believed to be from an early production run, with a round speedometer and no kickstart (electric start only, with a pull-cord backup for emergencies). Engine specs: 11ps at 5500rpm, 1.6kgm at 4000rpm, 65mm x 60mm bore/stroke, 6.5 compression, 6.0 liter fuel capacity, 155kg dry weight. Odometer reads 24,668km. Deregistration paperwork is included; insurance has lapsed. The connecting tube (air cleaner to carburetor), air cleaner element, and spark plug are said to be nearly new. Fuel is supplied via a fuel pump; the fuel coming through is clear. The seller says idling can stall the engine and it sometimes stalls at stoplights, so it is being sold as a restoration base needing mechanical attention. A start-up video and a driving video were recorded, but the seller notes the bike is no longer running as of listing (has sat since filming) and will likely need carburetor work to restart. Rear shock uses a substituted (non-air) spring; the original air spring unit is not photographed but is being kept by the seller separately.
The paint appears to be a repaint with numerous small scratches and rust throughout, the plastic inner cover under the main key has multiple cracks and is held by only one screw, and there is a broken section on the center stand foot with the rear touching the ground even when on the stand. The fuel tank has rust inside, front brake barely functions, tires are old and need replacement, and the vehicle is currently non-running and will need carburetor servicing to restart.
