This is an unused, long-term stored FRP aero hood from ASM I.S.Design, part number ASM-ZN6-15003, fitting the Toyota 86 (ZN6) and Subaru BRZ (ZC6). It shares the same shape as the brand's CFRP dry carbon hood. The heat-exhaust duct design uses the underside ribbing as a rain gutter, so no duct cover is needed even when parked in the rain. Reference weight is 6.670 kg versus the stock 7.095 kg, a 0.425 kg reduction, while offering cooling performance comparable to the CFRP version at a lower price point.
