This is a used 5ZIGEN SP Spec Street cat-back muffler, part number SP1003, for the early Nissan Fairlady Z (Z33, CBA-Z33). The seller states that on September 20th, at a Nissan Kanagawa dealership, this muffler failed the vehicle's third shaken (Japanese vehicle inspection) for exceeding the 96dB noise limit, so it was removed and the factory muffler reinstalled. It was removed and packed as-is without cleaning. Mounting bolts and gaskets are not included. Photos 5 and 6 show the muffler as installed on the car for reference, but the item itself was purchased used in December 2020.
Seller notes dirt, scratches, and rust on the muffler from use. It did not pass the legal noise limit (96dB) at inspection, and no mounting bolts or gaskets are included.
Shipping: Ships freight-collect (cash on delivery/着払い) from a Nissan dealership in Kanagawa. The seller estimates the shipping size class at around 200 (a large parcel size tier used by Japanese carriers). No shipments are made on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
