Description

This is a 1998 Kawasaki KSR80 (KSR-2), a 2-stroke mini bike with 11,471km on the odometer, sold by a seller in Ishioka City, Ibaraki who is thinning out a multi-bike collection. The seller has owned it since 2016, purchased used at 10,684km. It starts on the kick, idles after warm-up, and the seller reports normal running, turning, and braking with no clutch slip or gear popping, and all electronics functioning. One duplicate key is included that operates everything, along with onboard tools and a de-registration/transfer certificate; compulsory insurance (jibaiseki) has lapsed. Custom parts include a Takegawa Super Multi DN meter, a mini regulator (DC12V), a rear carrier, a swap to a 4A-BS type battery from the stock 2.5L-C type, and a removable TSU elbow added to the silencer exit to redirect exhaust away from the license plate. Over the past decade the seller has performed extensive maintenance including front/rear brake caliper overhauls, carburetor cleaning, new sprockets and chain, new wheel bearings/seals, new cables, new clutch and mechanical seal components, front fork overhaul, and fluid changes. A YouTube link with engine sound is provided by the seller.

Seller reports it starts, idles, and runs/turns/stops normally with no clutch slip or gear popping and full working electronics, with a rust-free tank interior and intact seat; cosmetically there is scratching, rust, a cracked cowl, peeling/faded paint and touch-up paint, 2017-dated tires, a modified battery case, and a rear carrier with cracked paint exposing rust, though the seller describes it as in good condition for its age.

Shipping: The seller can arrange door-to-door transport via the Redline carrier at the buyer's expense. Local pickup is available in Ishioka City, Ibaraki, generally on Fridays or Saturdays. The seller can also personally deliver within nearby prefectures (all of Ibaraki, parts of Saitama, Chiba, Tochigi, and eastern Tokyo 23 wards) for a fee roughly in the 8,000-15,000 yen range depending on distance.

Ships from Ibaraki, Japan, to our Osaka warehouse and on to Pomona.
