This is a personally owned 1992 Toyota MR2 SW20 Turbo (3S-GTE), sold by the current owner who received it from an acquaintance. Odometer shows 35,000 km, stated as genuine mileage. No known accident history, though this cannot be fully confirmed due to multiple past owners; it reportedly began life as a shop demo car and was later JAF-homologated for gymkhana competition. Major modifications include a roll cage, rebuilt engine/transmission/turbo, close-ratio (cross) gearbox, believed 2-way LSD, upgraded clutch, rigid engine mounts, coilovers (possibly one-off), a legal (shaken-compliant) exhaust, full intake piping with blow-off valve, aftermarket intercooler and aluminum radiator, upgraded brake rotors and pads, a lightened/flat-floored interior, a passenger-side fire extinguisher, FRP hood and trunk, a short/quick shifter, and additional boost and water-temp gauges. Shaken (Japanese roadworthiness inspection) is valid through October 2026. At time of listing the non-functional triple gauge cluster has been removed, the wheels shown will be swapped for a different set for delivery, and the driver's bucket seat will be replaced with a stock semi-bucket seat since the fitted bucket belongs to the seller's other car.
