Description

This is a 1987 Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZR (E-HZ31), a 2-seat, 5-speed manual coupe finished in the rare factory Light Blue Metallic (#426) with a black leather interior (Recaro-based seats reupholstered in leather by a previous owner). Odometer reads 114,000 km, believed genuine, with the current owner adding only about 20,000 km over roughly 20 years of garage-kept ownership. No accident history is claimed by the seller, though this is not guaranteed. The front bumper and hood were repainted due to fading; the rest of the body is described as original paint. The original VG30DE engine and drivetrain are said to run well. Extensive recent maintenance (roughly the last year) includes timing belt/water pump, clutch system overhaul, front/rear hub bearings, engine mounts, thermostat, rebuilt alternator, fuel filter, transmission and diff oil, plugs, and a new Avante dual exhaust. Front brake calipers were just overhauled with new pads; rear calipers were overhauled in 2021. Suspension is NISMO adjustable shocks with lowering springs. Included extras: spare rear wheel-house interior panels, new steering rack O/H seals, retractable headlight motor relays, and spare front spoiler side pieces. Sold with valid Japanese registration and inspection (shaken) through August 2027.

Seller describes the car as very clean for its age with only minor scratches, an original interior with no dashboard cracks, and no accident/repair history claimed (unverified). Known issues include occasional slow retractable headlight operation when the engine is off and a small amount of water intrusion from the driver's A-pillar during unexpected rain.

Shipping: This is a running, registered vehicle located in Japan; the seller states the winning bidder must arrange their own inland transport, and no shipping carrier or cost is quoted by the seller.
