Description

This is a 1981 (Showa 56) Mitsubishi Debonair A33 sedan, a rare classic finished in black with a gunmetal roof. It runs the 2,550cc G54B gasoline engine paired to a column-shift automatic, RHD, 2WD, 4-door, 5-seat layout. Odometer shows 23,970 km, though the seller notes the old 5-digit odometer may have rolled over once and true mileage cannot be guaranteed; the seller believes the engine's condition rules out more than one rollover. The vehicle has a valid shaken inspection through June 19, 2027. A non-original one-off stainless muffler runs front to end, described as no louder than stock, with no oil smoke. Ahead of this year's inspection the shop performed a full check and preventive maintenance (records included), and in the last year the seller replaced the distributor cap/rotor, spark plugs, plug wires, battery, diff and engine oil/filter, coolant, and had the alternator fully overhauled. Equipment includes working A/C (R12, leak-checked), power steering, power windows, lowered suspension, and a factory owner's manual. Extras offered include a body cover, spare tail lens set, distributor cap, oil filter, a set of 4 older steel wheels/tires for inspection use, and a Debonair model car. Note: earlier listing text mentioning a bench seat was a seller error; it actually has separate front seats with a center console.

Seller states no major exterior dents and no confirmed accident history, but this 45-year-old car shows rust in less visible areas, dull/rusting chrome trim, a worn headliner and dirty pillar trim, a slow passenger-side power window, some non-functioning interior lights, a non-working factory radio, and minor oil seepage described as within acceptable range. Mileage is shown as 23,970 km but the seller cannot confirm the 5-digit odometer has not rolled over once.

Shipping: This vehicle must be moved by flatbed/car carrier; self-driving pickup is not permitted and no local pickup is offered even to nearby prefectures. The seller does not arrange long-distance transport and notes many haulers refuse older classic cars or charge high rates, so the buyer must find their own carrier. The seller can personally deliver within a Kyushu-to-Kansai range for an additional fee quoted separately.

Ships from Miyazaki, Japan, to our Osaka warehouse and on to Pomona.
