A 1978 Vespa 200 Rally, model VSE1T, showing 11,509 km on the odometer. The seller has owned it for about 40 years and reports it was kept fully indoors, ridden only a handful of times in the rain, and not ridden at all for the last 7-8 years. Some touch-up paint has been done but original factory paint is believed to remain in places, and a factory-applied number sticker is still present inside the leg shield. Two keys are included: a ZADI ignition key and a NEIMAN key for the handlebar lock/front box. Four years ago the fuel tank and carburetor were cleaned and the engine was confirmed to start; at the time of this listing, spark was confirmed at the plug when kicked over. Since the seller acquired it, the tail light, turn signal lenses, battery, stand rubber, wiring, bulbs, and tires have been replaced; the original tail lens broke decades ago and was swapped for a 50s-style tail light. Rubber parts (brake pedal rubber, kick lever rubber, etc.) have deteriorated. Fourth gear tends to pop out, so the seller has been riding it by holding the shifter into 4th. No seatbelt and no spare tire cover are included. Repair history prior to the seller's ownership (before ~40 years ago) is unknown.
Seller reports scratches, dirt, and general wear consistent with age: cracked/torn original seat, faded and cracked paint, rust and cloudiness on chrome trim, deteriorated rubber components, and a 4th gear that pops out of engagement. The scooter has not been ridden in 7-8 years, though the engine reportedly showed spark when kicked over at listing time.
