This is a 1978 Suzuki GS400 motorcycle, currently unregistered for use in Japan, with an odometer reading of 27,385 km. The seller cleaned the carburetors and added oil through the spark plug hole to get the engine running; after about 20 minutes of idle warm-up it revved cleanly through the range with no concerning noises. Brakes are not seized and the side stand weld is sound, so the seller believes it is rideable with light servicing. A scuff-type scratch is visible on top of the fuel tank in photos, and the battery is missing. The seller describes this as a project for someone comfortable doing their own mechanical work, given the bike's age (over 45 years).
