This is a 1978 Mitsubishi Jeep J58, a gasoline-powered utility vehicle with about 49,200 km on the odometer (seller states this is the actual mileage). The vehicle is currently deregistered (temporarily off the road) and has no valid shaken (Japanese vehicle inspection). There is no maintenance record book and accident/repair history is unknown. The recycling deposit ticket is not included. The seller describes themselves as not knowledgeable about Jeeps and cannot answer technical questions, and recommends treating this as a restoration base. The car is sold in as-is condition (genjyo watashi).
The engine starts but the battery was dead and required a jump starter; only 1st gear and reverse have been tested since the car is only moved in and out of the garage. Steering is heavy, the gear-side lever is stiff, only the headlights function electrically, and there is extensive paint rust, peeling, and some dents.
