Description

This is a 1975 Nissan Laurel SGX, the "Butaketsu" (fastback) body style, being sold as part of the seller's estate/collection wind-down. The engine is a built L28 stroked to roughly 3.0L using FJ20 pistons and L14 connecting rods, said to rev freely to 8000 rpm. It has a ported/reground cam, upgraded oil pump, IC alternator, and reportedly an upgraded starter. Exhaust is stainless equal-length headers into a period Trust dual exhaust (modified to a center-muffler-delete straight setup). Induction is a set of rare Tokiwa 44mm Solex carburetors (same as "gold Solex") with velocity stacks. Other modifications include front coilovers, rear reinforced suspension, a 5-speed manual, a Nismo R180 LSD, upgraded front/rear brakes, Marchal 4-lamp setup, brake flashers, LED headlight and gauge bulbs, mechanical Ohmori water/oil temp and oil pressure gauges, an aftermarket stereo, Jaguar-style mirrors, a 5-horn setup on a separate switched circuit, an upsized 3-layer radiator core, a hidden HKS oil cooler behind the front bumper, a Kameari high-pressure radiator cap, Wako Full-Tra additive, Nagai Denki plug wires, and a Nismo fuel pump. The seller notes the engine runs well but the exterior is very rough. Small accessory parts may be removed before sale depending on final price, and the car does not come with wheels — it will be sold as a rolling chassis without wheels.

Exterior is heavily deteriorated with rust-through holes at the hood tip and lower left rear quarter panel plus water intrusion, though the seller says the engine runs well. Mileage is listed as tampered/unknown, vehicle history (修復歴) is unclear, and it currently has no valid shaken (roadworthiness inspection).

Shipping: The seller states they cannot arrange shipping themselves, so the buyer or importer must arrange pickup and transport from Ibaraki Prefecture.

Ships from Ibaraki, Japan, to our Osaka warehouse and on to Pomona.
