This is a 1975 (Showa 50) Daihatsu Hijet Truck, a 360cc 2-stroke kei-class pickup in Deluxe trim with a 4-speed manual transmission, 2WD, right-hand drive, gasoline engine, green paint (factory color), and seating for two. Odometer shows 29,000 km, which the seller states is genuine/original mileage from essentially one owner. The truck has been stored in a warehouse for roughly 30 years and its last vehicle inspection (shaken) expired in March 1998, after which it was taken off the road. The seller reports no accident history but multiple owners on record, and no maintenance booklet is included. The engine can be started but currently the fuel pump is bad; running an electric fuel pump directly to the carburetor lets it start and the seller describes the engine sound as healthy. There is a small water leak somewhere in the engine, possibly a hose. Sold as-is (genzai watashi), with no factory documents, spare tire, or optional equipment (no A/C, power steering, airbags, ABS, etc.).
Seller states the truck is currently inoperable (不動車): the engine will start with an auxiliary electric fuel pump but the stock fuel pump has failed, there is a minor coolant leak believed to be from a hose, and the radiator and front brakes should be cleaned/serviced. No accident history is reported, but shaken expired in 1998 and the vehicle has sat in storage for about 30 years.
