This is a Japan-registered, street-legal (rigid-frame certified) Ironhead Shovelhead chopper built on a 1974 XLH1000 frame fitted with a 1973 XLCH engine (4A engine code). The bike is a certified rigid frame with official documentation noting no rear suspension, giving the long girder fork and rigid rear their characteristic direct, harsh ride. It carries a mix of rare and vintage parts: long girder forks, dual square headlights, Z-bar handlebars, dogbone risers, front disc brake, rear drum brake, mini battery (kick start only), oil tank, mini turn signals, vintage king & queen seat, vintage sissy bar, vintage tail light, a modified peanut tank (with paint wear, lifting, and small dents), an S&S Super E carburetor, points ignition, drag pipe exhaust, a bare-metal rear flat fender, a Dunlop F14 3.00-19 front tire (about 80% tread) and a Metzeler 130-90/16 rear tire (about 70% tread).
