1972 Toyota Celica 1600GTV "Daruma" Celica

This is a 1972 (Showa 47) Toyota Celica 1600GTV, the early "Daruma" generation coupe, with a 1,600cc gasoline engine and 5-speed manual transmission, right-hand drive, 2-door, 5-seat configuration, 2WD. Seller states actual mileage of 40,000 km. Body color is described as blue-toned. Shaken (Japanese vehicle inspection) is valid through March 2027. No maintenance record booklet is included, and accident/repair history is unknown to the seller. The car is being sold as-is (current condition, no warranty). Notable modifications and equipment include an MSD Digital 6A multi-spark CDI ignition box, a Kameari infrared full-transistor ignition conversion (replacing the original point-type ignition, which had stopped starting the car), Nagai Denki Ultra Power ignition wiring (seller believes), an MSD IGC ignition control, and a new distributor cap and rotor. An OEM-option oil temperature gauge is fitted, the speakers are confirmed working, and an ETC unit is installed. The seller asks buyers to inspect the car in person given its age and modifications.
